Asus has launched its third gaming smartphone ROG Phone 3 in India. The phone is almost the same as ROG Phone 2 which was launched last year ROG Phone 3 comes with upgraded features with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 plus and GameCool 3 heat dissipating system. The phone comes in stunning black color with two storage variants 8 GB RAM with 128 GB storage variant, priced at Rs 49,999, and 12 GB RAM with 256 GB storage variant, priced at Rs 57,999 and both the variants are expected to go on sale via Flipkart on August 6.

Asus ROG Phone 3 is available only in one color black the price in India has been set at Rs. 49,999 for the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage variant, while the 12GB RAM with 256GB storage option of the phone at the price tag of Rs. 57,999. The phone comes with a 6.59-inch 144 Hz / 1 ms AMOLED display. The screen has a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and 391 PPI pixel density. It has an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and a screen-to-body ratio of 79.75 %. The phone is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6 which protects the phone from scratches and other damages.
Asus ROG Phone 3 runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Plus Chipset 5G Mobile Platform with 7nm, 64-bit Octa-core Processor. The phone has Qualcomm Adreno 650 GPU which brings a 10% performance improvement. The phone comes with a triple camera setup at the back that includes a 64MP Sony IMX686 primary sensor that has an f/1.8 lens. 13 MP, 125° ultrawide-angle camera and 5-megapixel macro lens.
ROG Phone 3 is the first smartphone to have its CPU hit 3.09 GHz. The supports Wi-Fi 6E, which works in the 6 GHz band gives more bandwidth and lower latency. The phone comes with a massive 6,000 mAh battery and supports 30W fast charging but the phone does not support wireless charging. ROG Phone 3 comes with GameFX audio system which is the collaboration with audio optimization specialist Dirac. The phone has dual front-facing stereo speakers that give immersive audio for your games.
