Camera:

Samsung Galaxy M40 consists of three rear cameras of a 32-megapixel main sensor with an f/1.7 aperture, an 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor with an f/2.2 aperture, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. Optical stabilization is not available. Autofocus is available, but it is not quick. This smartphone can shoot video at up to 4K at 30fps and can even do slow-motion video at 240fps, but at 720p resolution.

The main sensor saves a 12-megapixel image and you can manually change the resolution to the full 32 megapixels. The phone has portrait mode, which works well. In low light, the phones struggle a bit as autofocus gets a bit slower.

The front camera has a 16-megapixel selfie camera that shoots fairly average-looking photos, but shutter lag becomes an issue at low light. The portrait mode also works well in the front camera. The front camera can shoot video at 4K and 1080p. There is no stabilization in either resolution as well. The clicks in Super slow-motion look good.
